There is no specific time that tragedies, trauma or torment occur. In these Crucial moments, confusion and the ability to cope seem impossible. The Safety after Violence Initiative has a team of compassionate individuals that can offer a light of hope during the darkness of violence.

Safety after Violence (SAV) is a unique initiative that offers immediate housing, moving, healing and strategic community collaborations to anyone affected by trauma.
These services are not only vital for our families in need, but the long term impact within our community.
Our Goal
0ur goal is to restore confidence and mend hearts and change lives impacted by domestic violence.
There will never be one quick, simple or universal solution to violence. Through education, Resource Advocacy and Wisconsin's network of Community Partners we can guide families through trauma. The Safety after Violence Initiative can provide information and referral services that best meet the needs of all
The safety after violence (SAV) initiative is a 24-hour victim intake program that provides immediate safe and secure housing to all victims affected by any form of violence. Each house is fully furnished, monitored, has a supply of food, clothing and toiletries. Community Partner's will have direct access with our SAV team 24 hours per day 7 days per week 365 days per year. Each victim along with his/her family will be allowed respite care for 14 days not to exceed 30. Each family will receive confidential guidance resources and solutions prior to transitioning.
Our Initiative includes a 24 hour moving service, we have a 5-8 member team that is equipped with a 24 foot straight truck. Safety after Violence will pack and move your possessions to a secure location of your choice within a 50 mile radius. Any day. Any time.
Healing is different for everyone. The cycle of violence has many emotions that each individual experiences throughout the process. This process is terrifying, painful and emotionally devastating. Healing is key to overcoming trauma. Safety after Violence (SAV) will be staffed with clinicians, crisis coordinators and chaplains. In addition, art therapy will be available as a distressing method to self- express, cope and manage stress.
